Chevrolet cars and Maruti cars both are the largest manufacturing companies in India. But both have the different positions in car market. There is no doubt in that the sale of Maruti cars is more than Chevrolet cars in India. But still Chevrolet cars are recognized by its extreme looks and luxurious features. Let's discuss the Chevrolet spark and Maruti Alto.
If I have to choose the one car brand in two of them than surely I go for the Alto because of its trustworthy position and the best after sale services. It's true the Chevrolet spark is much better in looking and the car is less in nothing but here is the question of mindset and reliability of the brand. I trust the Maruti cars more than Chevrolet cars.
It may confuse the buyer while purchasing the car. Alto's pro is its fuel economy and its ownership experience. The mileage difference between Chevrolet Spark and Maruti Alto is just 1 to 2 kilometers per liter max. The main advantage of buying the Maruti Alto is its resale value. If fuel efficiency is your main criteria then there is no other option then Alto. It has very good responsive engine and is very stable even at speeds of 100+ KMPH. Alto is also a good car with good service backup and you can expect a mileage of about 15-16 with AC in City.
Chevrolet Spark is also a good car but the service backup is not great as Maruti Service. The prices of spark are higher than Maruti Alto. The features offered by the Chevrolet spark are much better and convenient than the Maruti Alto. Both cars are suitable and comfortable for the 5 passengers.

I vote for Maruti Alto 800.Maruti has caught the right Indian nerve of frugal engineering and obsession with mileage of Indian customers and Maruti Alto 800 has that USP of high mileage and low price tag.
